Finally finished this. I was gonna add a BG but decided I was happy with it as is. So yea, Hope you all like it. Can be easily used as a wallpaper since there's no BG. Download for larger version.
It's amazing! The colors and the way it's drawn is just so reminiscent of the anime.
The way you do cloth has always amazed me too. You just always get better with it and rock with fabrics and folds. I always love watching you draw on webcam through MSN. It's helped me improve a bit myself, though I still refuse to upload those drawing cause I still don't think they're good enough. Haha!
I agree with the decision of not adding a background to this. I think it looks perfect as it is personally.
My favourite part of this is the hair. I absolutely love what you did with it! Keep up the awesome work Mich!
First, let me start off by saying very nice, as usual. You have a lot of talent as an artist and you do very well. I like what you've done with the pose, the fabric, and her hair. Sailor Moon's hair is so long, sometimes it's tough to figure out what to do with it. You've rendered her very nicely. The lines and shading are neat and consistent.
I've noticed a few anatomy mistakes, though. The first thing I noticed was that her right (our left) breast isn't in line with the other. Her upper torso should be twisted to her left, so we should see her right breast (and right side of the ribcage) as higher than her left. Next- her shoulders are in line, but her left (again, our right) upper arm is too long. Make sure you're measuring proportions out! I think it's because of the extra-long upper arm that the rest of her left arm looks awkwardly bent. And I'm not too familiar with Sailor Moon and her various outfits, but I think you've forgotten part of her costume on her left shoulder.
One thing that bothers me is how small her head seems. I know that proportionally it is correct, but I'm so used to seeing larger heads from you that I wonder if it was intentional.
Other than that, it's quite good. I've rated you low on originality because nearly everyone who draws Sailor Moon draws her in some sort of generic 'pretty' pose like this. But you've made good color choices (I especially like the red/purple in the hair). Overall, it's a nice image, but I do think you've done better.
Hey there psyconorikan! Oh wow!!! Sailor Moon looks perfect here! She's absolutely adorable! You possess the ability to draw Sailor Moon exactly how she should look!!! You've got her down to a "T"!!! I just had to have "+Princess of the Moon+" in my favorites!!! I am a sure fan of your artwork, and I'm looking forward to viewing the rest of your gallery!!! I absolutely LOVE your work !!!!!
