Finally finished it! Spent about 20 hours on this altogether, never drawing another sugar cube again as long as I live. @.@ Yes, this is my tribute to one of my fav characters of all time. Looks like death isn't so bad after all. Sorry if this is a spoiler for anyone. @@

What a brilliant work. Although most of the time I pretend it didn't happen, if I have to deal with his death this is the way I like to think of it, because he so deserved it this way. I love you have his mist favorite items, the strawberries on the cake, the piles of sugar cubes, coffee and chocolate covered donuts. The subtle wings and halo that you almost don't see and thus doesn't beat you with the fact that he is dead; it could almost be a dream on his part. I really love this, great job. Looking forward to more work from you!!

Death Note was an amazing Anime series and L's love for sweets was my most favorite thing about the series. I mean some one so smart and serious how on earth can he have such a sweet tooth? L had an amazing death yes it was sad but his death was not in vain! You have picked one important key to L and that was his love for sugar cubes! the background does not clash with your main image and all of your detail is smooth and easy to see not so rough and rugger-ed. You deserve 5 stars in each category becuase so far in 2011 Your piece is the best i have seen in the death note anime series. i wish you luck on future pieces.

Absolutely beautiful

That's all I can think to say, this picture is beautiful and I love how L is surrounded by his favourite things. If that's what heaven is like I hope he's having fun
